Therme, just north of Bucharest near the airport, is one of Europe’s largest wellness centres: warm pools under glass domes and palm trees, saunas, a large adults-only spa area and a water park with slides for families. Buy a ticket for a few hours or a whole day, and allow time for the drive or the shuttle. Weekdays are calmer and cheaper than weekends, and treatments and food are paid for with your wristband.
