The George Enescu Festival brings the world’s greatest orchestras, conductors and soloists to Bucharest for several weeks of concerts, held every two years in late summer and early autumn. The Athenaeum and the large Palace Hall are the main venues, and the city buzzes with music. Watch the festival website for the programme and book early.
