About Mahala
Mahala, Romanian for the old working-class neighbourhoods of Bucharest, plays with the comfort food of those streets, from soups to slow-cooked meats, in a modern, colourful way. It is part of the Bragadiru Palace, the grand 19th-century complex of an old brewery on Calea Rahovei, and makes a good stop when you visit the Parliament.
