Cărturești Carusel, the “carousel of light”, fills a restored 19th-century building on Lipscani Street with white balconies, columns and a spiral of galleries full of books, music and design gifts. It is one of the most photographed bookshops in Europe, and the café on the top floor is a lovely place to rest.
